New 1/2 NPT No Drip External Mix Air Atomizing Spray Nozzles from EXAIR, Cincinnati, work in the same way as the company’s standard atomizing nozzles, but with an added benefit: When the compressed air supply is shut off, the no-drip feature positively seals off the flow through the nozzle, thus minimizing the possibility of damaging drips.
According to the company, these nozzles offer highest flow rates and allow the air and liquid flow to be adjusted independently. Suitable for applications involving liquids above 300 centipoise, they require no additional airline to control the No Drip feature.
As with any EXAIR spray nozzle, in addition to coating applications, the new offerings can be used for sanitization, decontamination, cooling, cleaning, dust mitigation, and humidification.
The company’s No Drip and standard Atomizing Nozzles are fully adjustable to minimize air and liquid consumption and have interchangeable liquid and air caps. Flows range from 141 Gph to 303 Gph (534 Lph to 1147 Lph). Also available in 1/8 NPT and 1/4 NPT, they are CE compliant and conflict-mineral-free.
