FLIR Systems, Arlington, VA, has launched the C5 Compact Thermal Camera with built-in cloud connectivity and Wi-Fi capabilities. According to the company, the pocket-portable C5 has been designed to provide easy sharing tools and reduced diagnostic time in commercial electrical-testing, mechanical-engineering, building-inspection, energy-auditing, and general-contracting tasks, among others..
The C5 is the first thermal camera in FLIR’s Cx-Series lineup to to come equipped with the company’s Ignite cloud-based solution. When connected to Wi-Fi, users can upload, store, and back up images and videos directly to FLIR Ignite, as well as manage and share data through emails from any mobile device or desktop computer.
Other noteworthy features include FLIR’s Lepton thermal-imaging sensor and patented MSX (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) technology, which helps create crisp images that allow quick pinpointing of hidden problems.
